Joomla 4.4.11 - Security Release

On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, Joomla 4.4. 11 was released. This is a security release that resolves a security issue in Joomla 4.x.

This security release resolves a security issue:

• [20250201] - Core - SQL injection vulnerability in Scheduled Tasks component
  Improperly constructed ordering query leads to a SQL injection vulnerability in the backend task list of com_scheduler

No further improvements have been added to Joomla 4.4. This version is no longer being developed and since October 2024 only security updates will be released for the Joomla 4 series. Joomla 4.4 will continue to be supported with security patches until October 14, 2025.

However, the transition from version 4.4.x to Joomla 5.x is a simple upgrade, not a complex migration. Additionally, most extensions will continue to work without any issues if you enable the "Backward Compatibility" plugin.
