Joomla 4.4.9 - Bug Fix Release

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, Joomla 4.4.9 was released. This version contains the final bug fixes and marks the end of regular bug fix updates for Joomla 4.4.

From now on, only security updates will be released for the Joomla 4 series. But good news for users of Joomla 4.4.x. Moving from version 4.4.x to Joomla 5.x is a simple upgrade, not a complex migration. In addition, most extensions will continue to work without any problems if you enable the "Backward Compatibility" plugin.
