Stichting Joomla Nederland
Stichting Joomla Nederland is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes the open source CMS Joomla! in the Dutch-speaking region.
The foundation does this by:
- organizing the yearly JoomlaDagen event
- supporting the Dutch Joomla community
- providing the official Dutch translation
- helping local user groups
- and actively promoting Joomla.
In short: Stichting Joomla Nederland brings the community together, helps users, and keeps Joomla alive in the Netherlands and Flanders — all without profit.
New treasurer
Peter Martin has been asked to support the foundation as treasurer. He finds it important to contribute to Joomla. And because his role as Release Manager for Joomla 5.2 ends on 15 April 2025, he is making space for a new challenge within the Dutch Joomla community. That’s why he accepted and will soon start in this new role.
